<span style="font-family: "courier new" , "courier" , monospace; font-size: x-small;">Le temps et la mémoire sont deux aspects majeurs du cinéma d’Andreï Tarkovski. Pour le cinéaste russe l’image est nécessairement poétique, elle a pour vocation d’exprimer la vie à travers le passage du temps. La dimension contemplative du rapport au paysage, l’importance de l’eau sous toutes ses formes, l’imbrication de différentes temporalités et l’errance sont autant d’éléments que l’on retrouve dans la pratique photographique d’Anne Immelé, invitée par la Fondation Fernet-<span class="text_exposed_show" style="display: inline;">Branca pour cette exposition qui ne se veut pas une illustration, mais une interrogation de l’univers visuel d’Andreï Tarkovski.<br />Afin de créer un dialogue en écho aux multiples dimensions de l’image chez Tarkovski, Anne Immelé a convoqué les œuvres de Pierre-Yves Freund et Dove Allouche, dont les œuvres sont marquées par le passage du temps. Les sculptures de Pierre-Yves Freund revêtent une dimension de suspend, de questionnements sans réponse ; l’altération et la modification des éléments solides ou liquides résonnent avec les préoccupations esthétiques de Tarkovski. Pour la série Le temps scellé, Dove Allouche est allé photographier les lieux du tournage de Stalker (1979) quelque trente ans après le tournage du film. Il en résulte des paysages chargés de la mémoire du film.</span></span><br />

<span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace; font-size: x-small;">Publié en 1896, <em style="box-sizing: inherit; line-height: inherit;">l’Atlas international des nuages</em>, compilé grâce aux recherches et classifications de chercheurs comme Jean-Baptiste Lamarck, Luke Howard ou Ralph Abercrombie, est le premier ouvrage qui propose une nomenclature des nuages, notamment en latin, permettant aux météorologues européens de travailler tous ensemble. Cumulus, Stratus, Nimbus… deviennent ainsi les différents genres de nuages et témoignent de l’avènement et de la reconnaissance de la météorologie au 19<span style="box-sizing: inherit; line-height: 0; position: relative; top: -0.5em; vertical-align: baseline;">ème</span> siècle. Depuis l’antiquité, le thème du nuage est déjà prégnant dans l’iconographie et constitue un motif d’inspiration très important traversant les siècles, notamment à travers la peinture et la photographie.</span></div>

Le nuage composé de 6000 ampoules créé par le collectif Caitlind Brown & Wayne Garrett invite les visiteurs à jouer avec cet arbre de lumière. Pollution, fumée se retrouvent dans les travaux de Christophe Urbain ou encore Hicham Berrada, quand Hoang Duong Cam dénonce les systèmes de transport des mégapoles asiatiques. Berndnaut Smilde recompose des nuages éphémères. Tandis qu’Emilie Faïf fait battre leurs cœurs, Marion Baruch les transperce. Shilpa Gupta les emprisonne ou parle au ciel. Julie Guillem et Jean Gabriel Lopez recréent leur propre atlas des nuages avec des procédés anciens.</span></div>

The book is composed of numbered plates, composed of single images, teeming collages, and exhibition views. The order of pages in each copy is different, in a random sequence. V.D. uses photography to transcribe his experience of the world and encompass its diversity. The desire to display a disordered multiplicity is strong. This leads him to arrange his images in the form of constellations – moving forms, suffused with a flow of sensations; untameable. He creates his layouts from a large number of photographs accumulated over time. For </span><span style="-webkit-font-kerning: none; -webkit-text-stroke-color: rgb(35, 35, 35);"><i>Catalogue</i></span><span style="font-kerning: none;">, he chose not to order his images chronologically or linearly, because, haunted by what is constantly breaking away, overflowing, and fleeing, he is always challenging order and chaos, in line with the thinking of Gilles Deleuze and Félix Guattari:</span></span></div>

<span class="text_exposed_show" style="display: inline;"><span style="font-family: Courier New, Courier, monospace; font-size: x-small;">"Si l’œuvre photographique de Julien Magre s’inscrit<br />dans un parcours biographique – ses séries relevant<br />de la chronique familiale et amicale –, elle possède<br />aussi une dimension filmique qui surgit dans<br />la (re-)construction de lieux singuliers et évocateurs<br />comme la forêt. Troubles, paru en 2015, était<br />une fiction le long d’une autoroute dans un climat<br />d’angoisse nocturne. Je n’ai plus peur du noir<br />est un dur retour à l’existence dans ce qu’elle<br />a de plus inacceptable : l’indicible expérience<br />de la perte d’un enfant, Suzanne, âgée de 7 ans,<br />atteinte d’une leucémie. « J’ai vu ma fille mourir<br />sous mes yeux, il faisait beau ce jour-là »,<br />écrit Julien Magre sur son site. Le livre reprend<br />cette dualité entre la mort et la vie : deux séquences<br />se succèdent, l’une volontairement obscurcie,<br />la suivante nimbée par la lumière de l’été<br />et des vacances. Au milieu du livre, une page<br />noire et une page blanche. Cette métaphore<br />du passage de l’ombre à la lumière s’accompagne<br />de captations photographiques privilégiant le poids<br />des choses et des moments. Les premières images<br />de paysages brumeux, assombris, aux teintes<br />étouffées, installent un climat de pesanteur<br />existentielle. Suivent les photographies prises<br />par Julien Magre avec Suzanne. L’univers<br />hospitalier y est mis à distance au profit d’une<br />attention poétique aux objets de l’enfance.<br />On retrouve le ballon rose des séries précédentes,<br />mais son caractère ludique et léger est rendu grave<br />par le traitement en noir et blanc. Des visages<br />apparaissent, des gestes se produisent dans<br />la pénombre, une solitude absolue est ressentie,<br />en même temps que les liens forts qui rapprochent<br />les membres de la famille. « Papa, depuis que<br />je suis à l’hôpital, je n’ai plus peur du noir »,<br />écrit Julien Magre, dans le poème Le jour d’avant."</span></span></div>

Die Künstlerin Anne Immelé aus Mulhouse verbindet mit ihrem Fahnenprojekt "But….the Cloud" 2016 Frankreich, Deutschland und die Schweiz über den Luftraum. An verschiedenen Orten der Region sind Fahnen platziert auf denen Wolken und Himmel zu sehen sind. Fahnen markieren Orte und stehen als Flaggen für Nationalstaaten, territoriale Grenzen und kollektive Zugehörigkeit und Identitäten.
